An Elevated Expression of Coffee from the Western Ghats

At 1,000 metres above sea level, amid the mist-covered hillocks of Sakleshpur, coffee has been cultivated at Dimbada for generations.

Where the Land Shapes the Coffee

Where the Land Shapes the Coffee

In the Western Ghats of Sakleshpur lies Dimbada Estate and Farm, a private landscape shaped by altitude, monsoon, water and time.

Named after the Kannada word “Dibba,” meaning hillock, Dimbada takes its identity from the land itself. Gentle hillocks rise and fold across the estate, interwoven with streams, shade trees and a rich diversity of life.

Here, coffee is cultivated beneath a carefully preserved canopy, with generations of knowledge guiding every harvest.

A Living Estate

A Living Estate

Dimbada is more than a coffee plantation.

Pepper vines climb the shade trees. Arecanut, cashew and sapota grow alongside coffee. Peacocks appear at sunrise, deer move through the estate at dusk, and foxes, wild boars, snakes and birds inhabit the landscape.

Coffee grows here as part of a living ecosystem.

Rooted in Generations

Rooted in Generations

Dimbada is rooted in the knowledge of third- and fourth-generation planters.

The estate has evolved with the land rather than against it — preserving its shade canopy, respecting its biodiversity and allowing coffee to develop at its own pace.

Our Story

Recognition for the Uncommon

Some coffees ask to be noticed. Dimbada's experimental and distinctive lots have begun to receive recognition beyond the estate.
